Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Oversee production processes to ensure they are within budget and enhance efficiencies.
  • Consistently finding ways to improve the organization’s production processes and structures.
  • Build strategies to maximize performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members to set goals for production team.
  • Scheduling routine maintenance.
  • Maintain quality standards.
  • Motivate, support and provide guidance to the departments staff.
  • Communicating regularly with upper managements regarding performance of department.
  • Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
  • Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
  • Set production goals for the department.
  • Develop workflow policies, and procedures that improve efficiency.
  • Ensure adequate scheduling of staff.
  • Work closely with production scheduling to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Upholds all ethical standards associated with safety, quality and food safety policies and procedures within the facility, including the TC Transcontinental Code of Conduct and Values.
  • Complies with all the standards that are followed in the TC Tulsa plant, including, but not limited to – Safety, Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF) and any other processes established within the TC Tulsa plant.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
  • Provide coaching and corrective actions for employees as needed.

Qualifications
